Question West German Field Uniform and Webbing - 70s and 80s era

I draw peoples' attention to this thread: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...man+bundeswehr , namely the pictures in the lower part of the first post.

I am looking to put together an OD airsoft 'load-out' similar/identical to that of Ubar's. Can anyone tell me what it is that I will need to get, in terms of clothing, webbing, field gear etc, in order for the infantry 'look' to be just right?

I will eventually own an airsoft G3a3 replica (when they are soon released), and have noticed an Olive version of the modern flecktarn webbing (LKS), to be available, along with a seemingly older version that you can see in many of the pics on the aforementioned thread (with plastic g3 pouches etc)

Could anyone please shed some light on when the old system was replaced, how long the west-german BW used the LKS Olive System, before it was replaced by the flecktarn version. Was it even fully replaced?

I have seen pictures of OD-Clad BW soldiers, with Flecktarn-covered steel helmets, so I take it that there must have been mixing of new and old - but I will be looking just for OD stuff.

    Thankyou

edit: Moderators - Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place - could some one please move it to the airsoft section please, if this is the case.
