Very good piece, one of my favorites. My second cousin served in a D-20 battery in the Serbian Army.

    Actually, the D-20 is a gun-howitzer.

Ahh, brings back memories. D-30 is a sweet gun to handle and fire. It wouldn't be a pleasant experience to be in the middle of that barrage.

Has the D-20 a semiautomatic breech like D-30? Of this 152mm stuff I've only fired the 152 H 88-40, and I think all those 88-x -models have a crappy manual breech.

I heard from my cousin that the D-20's they fired had the manual breech and that they often had a problem with it "sticking" as opposed to the lengthened barrel M84 Nora version which had an automatic breech, I think.

Shamelessly bumping my own thread for some D-30 pictures.
