Doesn't the Irish ARW use those Fords as a light infantry fighting vehicle?

They use Ford F350`s for special recon vehicles. Armed with GPMGs and either .50cal or 40mm mortar.

What kind of engines those up-armored fords have? I would imagine all that armor and fully armed troops weighs alot.

They usually run the 7.3l powerstrokes. Blow the hell out of the ol GM 6.5 diesels the HMMVWs use.

    Well, there's ofcourse Plasan-Sasa Ford F350:

The engine is Ford 6.0l TDI V8-325HP, the net weight is 4.6tons (each door is 100kg).
In the picture it's the Heavy Duty short version, there's also the Super Duty long that can carry up to 8 troops and the Light duty that is mainly protected against small arms fire. Price ranges from 100$k to 250$k.

    And RAFAEL Ford F550 Ze'ev:

I've got a picture somewhere around here of a Ford Super Duty that protected it's crew in a mine blast. I'll post it when I get home from school.
