Russian films about World War 2
Hi everyone
I'm looking for any info about russian films about WWII- not documentary, but normal films with battles, tanks, explosions etc. wanted to know if anybody here knows of such films?

Idi i smotri aka Come and See is probably the best war movie ever made.
"Svoi" - one of the best Russian war movies, as I think. But if you want Soviet , then - "V boi idut odni stariki", "A zori zdes` tihie", "Oni srazhalis za Rodinu". There are tons of soviet movies about ww-2, but these I like best. (pls somebody translate to english movies` names)
I would suggest two really good ones in my opinion: "Освобождение" (Liberation) and "Батальоны просят огня" (Batallions asking for fire)...

ROTA 9 Is a good film it's about the tough time the russians had in afghanistan, the 3 big war scenes can be found on you tube i believe if you want a preview.
