Do people think operators knock around in the same gear for their whole careers? Ofcourse they will wear something new now and again, besides, do you expect airsofters to buy a piece of kit and go rub it in the mud? No, it gets dirty naturally during skirmishes.

    x2

Depending on where you skirmish, indoors/outdoors, it could take some time before it looks "lived in" so to speak.

And besides, if an airsofter was dirty everyone would say that you did it on purpose not to be laughed at. No win situation here.

On the question of cleanliness, they certainly went to great lengths to copy SEALs, why not just roll around in the dirt/sand to complete the look?

Well, then those pictures might be confused with real SEAL pictures, and mods aren't going to like have to scrutinizing every picture if they're real or fake.

Because they don't know how to work a washer/dryer.

Some play both, and the one who just run around in a BDU wouldn't be too out of place. However, the million dollar kit airsofters would be worth watching.

Funny 'cause I know of paintballers who are as much gearwhores as airsofters...
