Rofl, where on Earth did you draw the conclusion?

Just saying, that's A LOT of cash to be dumped into airsoft. I buy a fair amount of gear and airsoft weapons myself, but being able to own the real thing is far more attractive to me in the long run.

    Hehe

Well it was sarcastic, because it's a common theme on these forums that now and then someone suggests we all drop the bb spitting toy guns and spend our money to the real thing, but what they don't seem to get is that airsoft is played for different reasons than shooting guns.

Anyway, I know shooting with real firearms can be a lot of fun, I've had my share.

If he likes airsoft, let him buy stuff for that. If he likes firearms I'm sure he'll look into that also, and propably not by the expence of airsoft.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Just saying, personally, as fun as it is to play airsoft, it will never be like having the actual pistol/rifle in hand to bring to the range and what not.

For example- would you want to spend $500-$600 on a Marushin M1 Carbine or a real USGI WWII/Korean War piece?

I probably shouldn't be judging but it seems like an arse load of gear to drop cash on.

it's not the cash he drops, it's the obnoxious "photo shoots" and videos he posts. does the guy fly out to the desert so he can live out his SOCOM: US NAVY SEALs wet dream?

to each his own, but seems a bit fanboyish to me
