Default Finnish Leopard 2A4 based Combat Engineer Vehicle.

Might be a local conversion of a spare chassis.

    More info/photos, anyone?

Articles of the new Leo 2 conversion:

All articles are in Finnish. Could a fellow Finn with more time translate them or keyparts ?

In all, 20 vehicles will be modified as engineer vehicles and bridgelayers, but so far only two (one of each type) have been delivered to the FDF. Ten Sisu bridgelayers have also been ordered, the first one was shown in the demonstration.

And KMW (naturally). The bridge construction is German, but this is the first time it's used on a Leopard 2 -chassis.

What are the two boxes behind the Combat Engineer Vehicle turret, linear demolition charges maybe?
