    Very good pictures
    Thanks

Some pictures from the naval base at Pashaliman. The base's shipyard has been purchased by Damen Shipyards where 2 of the 4 Damen Stan patrol 4207 which will enter service are to be build, along with other crafts in the future. So far the plan calls for 12 boats from Damen to be purchased, including Damen Stan Patrol 4207, 4100, and RV-160. Other plans are for purchase from Turkey of MRTP-29 and MRTP-33 (featured on the website of the Albanian Navy). These to happen before 2010 when the current ships are to be disposed off.

The current force concists of one minesweeper (M-113), One Kronshtadt-class gunboat, 2 Shnaghai-II class gunboats, and a large number of smaller patrol vessels.

Currently most of the ships at Pashaliman are non-operational and due to be scrapped. In this picture you can see M-112 minesweeper which has been taken out of service, the 4 Whiskey-class sumbarines that are out of service, and a number of torpedo-boats which are now all out of service. The base is operated jointly by Albanian forces and a Turkish contingent, with the agreement to allow Turkish navy ships to use the base as well (though this has not happened yet)

Here you can see the 4 Whiskey-class submarines that are long dicomissioned. The one that is painted is to be turned into a museum. In the background you can see the dicomissioned M-112 minesweeper, and one operational Shanghai-II, along with several smaller patrol crafts and two auxiliary vessels. On the drydock are also some torpwdo boats waiting to be disposed off.

Thanks for the pictures. I think now the Albanian ISAF contingent is no longer under Turkish command, but with the Italians.

That's possible, as I'm not updated on their current status. Most pics were from '99.

They're old German BO-105's (BO-105C?). They we're modernized in Germany to BO-105E4 before delivery. I thought the contract was for 6 units.
