Nice,
Beryl is becoming my favorite rifle. Could you do me a favor Remov ? I saw on You Tube video from Polish firefight with Taliban fighters. There was a soldier shooting from an underbarrel grenade launcher - Pallad. This grenade launcher had a grip attached to the barrel. I've never seen Pallad with a grip. Do you have any pictures of that?
Ok guys here is the first part of pics from MSPO (15th International Defence Industry Exhibition) 2007 in Kielce.
Unfortunately I had a big ****-up in work so I had to stay in Warsaw.
These pics were taken by my father (3rd day of exhibition).
First part:
PZL W-3 "Głuszec"
GLUSZEC – THE FIGHTING SOKOL
Prototype of the PZL W-3PL Gluszec (Wood-Grouse) helicopter gunship, a much-modernized version of the PZL W-3WA Sokol helicopter, would be premiered during this year’s MSPO in Kielce. Gluszec has got a completely new, integrated avionics, created at the ITWL, based around the new, modular computer, managing the on-board systems by a MIL-STD-1553B data rail, and new armament, including the 70 mm rocket pods and laser-guided missiles, a 12.7 mm WKM-Bz heavy machine gun in a remote-controlled WS-4610 mount from OBR-SM in Tarnow. Thanks to the Gluszec program, implemented over three years of hard work and at a cost of 100 million PLN, W-3PL is to be fully compliant with the STANAG 4555 governing the battlefield helicopters. Gluszec would be defended against the MANPAD missiles by a Ukrainian KT-01 AV Adros system, jamming the IR homing heads. Another Gluszec’s novelty is the HUD system, first used in Polish-manufactured helicopter.

PT-91Ex
PT-91EX – THE 15TH MSPO LARGEST SENSATION
The largest sensational revelation (in both literal and methaforical sense) of the 15th MSPO fair is arguably the PT-91Ex MBT from ZM Bumar Łabędy SA. It was “uncovered” at 11.00 in front of the Bumar hall at the fair. This is a variant of the tank developed for the foreign orderee, which is being delivered to the consignee as of this year, after a long and arduous testing regimen. This is a fundamental modernization of the hitherto PT-91 Twardy MBT. It is powered by a powerpack consisting of the PZL Wola S-1000R 736 kW/1000 HP engine integrated with SESM Renk automatic gearbox. The main armament is a modified Slovakian-made smoothbore 125.MS cannon, stabilized in two planes by a new, totally electric-driven stabilization system, coupled to the SAVAN-15 day and night FCS and VIGY-15 panoramic observation system, both by Sagem of France. Level of defense is advanced by the use of SSP-1 Obra-3 laser beam warning system by PCO of Warsaw, and modernized ERAWA-2 active armor components. The tank is fitted with a BMS, advanced communication and IFF systems. The tank is fully air-conditioned and has its own electric power generator.
The PT-91Ex is not only for export, but also provided numerous solutions for the modernization of the PT-91 Twardy tanks used by the Land Forces of the Polish Army

CV90120 Light Tank
Source: http://www.magnum-x.pl/mspo/index.php?day=1&lang=enAGREEMENT BETWEEN THE HäGGLUNDS AB AND ZM BUMAR ŁABĘDY
An important event for the Bumar Group, opening new perspectives for the tank and automotive plants of the group took place at 14.00 on September 4. An agreement was signed between the ZM Bumar-Łabędy, Bumar Sp. z o.o. and BAE Systems Hägglunds AB on cooperation in designing and manufacturing of the armored vehicles systems. The first shared project will be the further development of the CV90120-T light tank.
One of the prototypes would be sent to Gliwice, to make the Bumar-Łabędy designers familiar with the design and characteristics. Future polonized CV90120-T may be taken into consideration as the versatile combat support vehicle mostly for the expeditionary units, because of its small weight (up to 35 tons) and dimensions enabling it to be transported with the A400/Ił-76/C-17 Class aircraft. The 120 mm smoothbore L/50 cannon and advanced FCS gives the CV90120 firepower at the same level as the modern MBTs.
The CV90120-T light tank is on display at the ZM Bumar-Łabędy booth (C-2) in Hall C.

Second part:
AMZ "Tur" armored patrol vehicle with remotely controlled weapon module ZSMU-Kobuz 12,7 mm
Hibneryt (Armored Star truck with 23mm AA gun) - soon 8 such vehicles will be deployed to A-stan.
„GUNTRUCKS” FOR AFGHANISTAN
This premier came as a total surprise. The Hibneryt-P presented at the Land Forces exhibition is an improved armored version of the hitherto Hibneryt, the 23 mm ZU-23-2K double anti-aircraft cannon portee carrier, designed by Cpt. Piotr Lasek.
The Hibneryt cannon carriers were used by the Polish forces in Iraq for base defense and convoy duties – but soft-skinned vehicles were too vulnerable. Late last year Hibneryts were urgently demanded by the Polish military contingent in Afghanistan as well. This time the military green lighted armoring the vehicle, and the 3rd District Technical Workshop in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, situated in the XIX Century Modlin fortress, was ordered to implement the modifications. These consisted of: adding cab armor, adding flatbed armored box for the crew, and necessary modifications to the suspension and brakes. Armored shield protecting the cannon was supplied by ZM Tarnów.

New Jelcz-442 armored truck
WOULD BARTEK REPLACE THE STAR?
A new truck by Jelcz-Komponenty, would be premiered during the 15th MSPO. Hitherto the company specialized in heavy trucks, 6x6s, 8x8s and 8x4s, now supplanting this diet with a new military medium high mobility vehicle, the Type 442, or Bartek. Jelcz designed this truck to stop the gap created by the MAN closing down manufacture of the Star 944 and 1466 models, hitherto standard military trucks of the Polish Army.
Bartek is a 4x4 vehicle with integral armored cab, compliant to the requirements set by the Polish MoND. It is powered by a 6-cylinder Iveco NEF Tector Euro 3 diesel engine, capable of 202 kW/275 HP at 2500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 930 Nm. The gearbox is a 9-speed mechanical one. The new Jelcz is ca. 7000 kg heavy, with a total weight of 14 000 kgs. The maximum speed (electronically governed) is 85 kph, the truck is ADR compliant, fording depth is up to 1.2 m, and it is air-transportable in C-130 Class aircraft. Bartek has a wide array of series and optional equipment.

Jelcz based "KROTON" - mine scattering system
JELCZ-BASED KROTON
Military Production Center of the Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. would present a new version of their Kroton Engineers’ Mine-Planting System during the 15th MSPO. The basic Kroton, carried by the MT-LB tracked prime-mover, was jointly created by HSW S.A., BZE Belma S.A. of Bydgoszcz (the mine supplier) and ZEP Profel of Szydłowiec (steering apparatus supplier) in 1990s and accepted into the inventory in 2003 by the Land Forces Engineers’ Command. Four Krotons were delivered in 2004-2006, two more would be purchased in 2007-2008.
To compliment the mine-scattering system with a more versatile platform, a Universal Mine-Scattering Platform capable of being fitted to any medium truck chassis was created in 2005 by the HSW. A prototype of that version, with four mine-scattering blocks, was built in 2006, utilizing the chassis of the Star 1466, alongside with a training vehicle for crew training. This configuration drew attention of the Land Forces Engineers’ Command as a compliment for heavier, more expensive tracked vehicles. The Engineers’ Command would need 12 tracked Krotons and 12 lighter ones. This, and export possibilities enabled the CPW HSW S.A to re-consider the lighter model, and a new, 6-block model to be carried by heavier trucks was thus created. The presented model is based on a Polish Army’s standard Jelcz S.662 D.43 6x6 truck with Hiab crane, but other possibilities include e.g. the Tatra T-815.
