High tech enough. Steyr-Daimler-Puch made a 100% technology transfer for the basic versions.
This vehicle looks less protected then an M113.
I don't think the sameAdd on modular armour with level 4 (STANAG 4569) protection (cal. 14,5 mm x 114 API/B32)
