    Default SOCOM 2 questions...

Before anybody gives me any crap for posting something about a game, hear me out. Look at some of the screenshots posted here http://www.gamers.com/game/1357005/media
SOCOM 2 is being made with help from NSW. They have real SEALs that brought with them their real equipment from their AO. Some of the shots have SEALs with Tiger Stripe Camo on top and woodland on bottom. The others have them with woodland on top and three pattern desert on bottom. Does anyone have any info?

What info are you looking for? What, if the uniform combinations are accurate or not? If real SEAL use those weapons/gear? Who cares, its a shoot em up video game. Just have fun with it. (Yes, I have played SOCOM, good game. I like the idea of the voice/headset thing)

Yea I want to know if the uniforms are correct and if Tiger Stripes are still in use and why you would combine two differant colors of camo. PS this game looks badass JLK.

Yes, Tiger Stripes are still in production/use. Usually only specialized units see them. There is also a desert version that I have seen some pics of some Spec Ops wearing. As far as combining camo, I think it depends more on situation/environment/personel choice. There are many pics of SF wearing 3 color trousers with different tops/jackets/hoods.

You combine 2 diff camo for the environment. Such as in a semi winter environment you would wear white on the top and a brown on the bottom, or was that the other way around? I cant remember, just go ask some people who hunt.

Think about it. BDU sets come in the same colors and patterns for top and bottom. In some desert inviorments instead of just sand there are small trees or shrubbs and stuff. Having a different color/pattern top and bottom might work to an advantage... Check this SEAL out...he has a leafy hunters ghillie for a top http://www.news.navy.mil/management/...-0000X-001.jpg
