Pics of recruits from the Armoured Battalion (PBN, StormEsk 3) during their "Beret-run".
A traditional examination of sorts where the recruits have to prove that they've earned the right to don the battalion's beret.
All pics are taken from the Norwegian Army's official Facebook page.

Might be a while, the only subtitles so far are in Norwegian and there is still two episodes of Pirate Hunt left that needs translating.

Hey Ostias - thanks for the pics - say, is there a high-res of the NBC fistbump pic? I'm not on Facebook to check...

Cheers

I hope not. We've got no business being in Africa. There are some intelligence officers in Mali I believe, but no combat troops (officially at least) .

Question for you guys, the KJK are Marines right? Well are they are more like US Marines or more emulating British/Dutch Marines? I know there aren't that many of them

The KJK is a small elite unit [*******#000000]trained to operate in littoral[*******#000000] combat theatres. They are not trained to do typical special operations, like the MJK unit, but they train on some counter-terrorism tasks, like boarding. Their main task is ISTAR, [*******#000000] and to fight asymmetrical [*******#000000]enemy tactics. I am not sure how this compare to other maritime units.

Hey,

I think it may be Goldfish boats, see if you can find the model on their site.
