It seems that's some kind of uhm...aftermarket product that's producing the smoke? Should be illegal.

it cleans carbon off of your engine, smoke only last for like 10 minutes. I will probably go out to a secluded spot on fort hood and run some of it through my car to clean up the motor

More grinding like grrrrrrg but then it disappears. This usually happens when Im making close to full turns in a parkling lot or slowly making turns in a street.

Rest of the time, its doesnt make sound.
    Well here are 2 options:
1.The belt of power steering pump needs to tighten/change.
2.Or you have wider tyres, when you make full turn, the tyres grind on the carroserie.
    Cheers

Was it a random misfire code P0300 or a P0301,P0302,P0303,P0304 corresponding the the offending cylinder? According to crank angle variation of course. Did you start using high ethanol fuel?

Well, I was on the wrong track with the fuel pump. The fuel filter was changed out last fall, I changed the air filter and plugs at that time. I did not replace the wires, so I did that Saturday and it made no difference. After exhausting those possibilities, I realized I was overdue on the timing belt. I had it replaced and now the car runs like a champ, with no check engine light or stuttering like before.

pull your spark plugs and examine the electrodes , they should all have the same gap and the same signs of wear, some darkish soot is normal but there should not be too much of it, if you find one with ligth grey soot that does not look like the others, suspect lean fuel due to faulty injector to that cylinder. if you find a plug with darker, moist residue with strong gasoline smell in comparison with your other plugs , check that spark plug wire with a short checker , the kind you run along the wire to detect energy leaks(arcs) . if the wire is fine then check your ignition coils for correct resistance ratings with an Ohm meter as you could have a bad ignition coil pack. if that is ok , check the power leads to the ignition coil pack , i have experienced weak power leads in fords that come loose over time.

only if you where to find a spark plug with actual oil on it i would then suspect bad piston rings or bad valve stem seals.

if everything checks out fine, i would have car checked for correct ignition timing, many timing belts are supposed to be replaced at the 60k mile interval and if your car has not been serviced for timing belt and the engine is reved hard, the timing belt could have skipped a sprocket causing stutters and misfires.

    please update your findings.
There was no oil on the plugs. I was overdue for a timing belt and I had it replaced Saturday. The car runs just fine now with no check engine light or stuttering like before. You hit the nail on the head - grassy ass! I was definitely barking up the wrong tree with the fuel pump. Thanks, Tuercas.

Sounds like it fixed itself, timing belts do not normally jump time and the engine still continues to run. When they do jump they strip the teeth and the engine quits, sometimes in an expensive manner. Three things are possible, a bad connection or something that was remedied by replacing the belt(timing) or moving things around so to speak, the mechanic saw whatever it was thinking they caused it and fixed it like a connection, or you still have a problem that will pop up again. I hate the ones that fix themselves.

I will say this i did see a 3.0 Nissan V6 jump time by one tooth on one cam. If it had stripped all the way the valves would have bent. Maybe it was one of those rare instances where the belt did jump without stripping the teeth. Either way glad it is running better, hope that is the end of it.

its right on the ridge, so im not so sure it would work, and the dent is quite small.. i guess pictures would explain it better..
