i had a bad deal with kumho, they wore out way too fast....i also had my car lowered but the camber had been adjusted back to 0.
You can't go wrong with BFG. I stake my rep on those tires.

BFG's? really. They're going for a good price. 90 bucks a tire, versus 150-ish for other ones. Cool, i'll go for them.
Yeah, Zonk, heard bad things about kumho.
Not too worried about them not lasting, though. Only need to do the fronts, the rears were replaced after my wife decided to get rear ended by a Prius going about 45.
must of taken that prius 7.5 seconds to get up that fast......
i was wondering shocker...on a 1990 300zx non turbo was it normal for the motor to make a ticking noise...sounds kind of like a loose lifter spring. we have contacted several shops and they all claim it is a normal sound, what is your experience with them. my father in law is thinking of possibly having some work don't to the motor and is curious as to if he should have the head reworked.
Those 3.0l are known for some lifter ticking with some miles. Try some Lucas Oil with the next oil change. Those are some damn good engines though.
I was on the interstate earlier, saw a van merging. Older GMC something or other. I noticed the front tire was kind of bumping up and down as opposed to running smoothly on the road. What the hell was his problem? I changed lanes and sped up to get away from him.
IMHO it could be that the tire could have had a bulge in it, which of course would cause this. Or it could have had something wrong with the suspension.
Seemed pretty serious, I figure it was more than the tire, but maybe not.
I also remember another van, late 90s model when I last went to Atlanta. The front wheels were slightly slanted in towards the vehicle. I thought his axle was about to snap or some sh*t.
Snobby? Safe.
So my sensor light came on today. Took the car to autozone and got it checked out. The readout came back as the following codes.
P0171 description:
The pcm has determined that during testing, the fuel system for bank 1 was too lean.
Note: I also had bank 2 as an error code.
Also, this code came up
P0300:
Multiple random misfires have occurred.
This has been on for one day, and I just filled up my car with about 3 gallons of gas, all I can afford at the moment. Would it matter with the amount of fuel in my tank? Or is this a more sinister problem?
What kind of car? (this matters for the type of air measuring method)
Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all the vacuum lines for problems. The lean issue is with both banks and miss fire is random not one certain cylinder. Which means it is affecting all cylinders with air mixture. Both banks showing lean also is a good indicator that the O2 sensors are ok. Unless the O2s have both failed to lean voltage(not likely), or maybe one of those pesky grounds. Maybe an intake gasket, fuel pump............
Before I ramble anymore check for a vacuum leak.
Went with the BF Goodrich. Got all four. Car rolls great. Thanks for the input.
Glad I could help. I was sold on them when I put a set on my truck. It rode so smooth I thought something was wrong.
Really quiet as well. Haven't gotten up to freeway speed yet, but so far quiet. of course now I can hear some weird clicking in the engine.
Hey, can't get through to my Audi service professional, so had a quick question. My A4 is a quart low it seems. What's a good oil (synthetic). It's a 1.8 Turbo. Audi's are notorious for sludge.
