Morons watch and enjoy drifting. And NASCAR. At least in NASCAR they actually race.
Do the drivers in NASCAR not try to get around the track as fast as possible whilst dodging flaming car wreckage in a constant left turn? It's boring racing but it's racing. Drifting is for show.
Nascar is partly for show aswell , after all most people seem to be waiting for a stack.

Drifting is still about car control, it takes skill control a car like that, though it's not racing, it's impressive and fun to do.
2006 XLT, had 57,000 miles on it.
