Trying to figure this out.

I've seen BMWs online that have a unusual logo. Instead of the blue and white quartered circle, there is a circle filled by red and white checkerboard. I can't remember what I've seen it on. What's the significance of the badge? If I remember correctly, it wasn't just some mail-order add on. It was a professional tuner or something.

Maybe Alpina BMW...when you're fed up with BMW's option policy and want a car that won't look like a Taxi.

Mercedes E-class are taxis, rearely BMWs. It's seriously an image problem of the E-class.

They reached a bit of the status AMG has with Mercedes.
Alpina delivers its parts to BMW and BMW assembles Alpinas in return.
The names are B5, B8 etc. Often they have BMW logos though.

Well I already have 9 people that want one, and I'm going to give one to all of my loyal customers.

That's cool, make it retro, like it's a repair shop from the 40s, people will be wearing it as a usual casual tshirt and it wont look like some advertising shirt...i know i would wear it

I own one actually (D3 sedan 2007), and with "that doesn't look like a taxi" part wanted to underline that you don't really have to go Mercedes when the BMW option list looks like a nightmare. You just buy an Alpina.

The D3 coupe (almost full option) 211 hp goes at 42 000 eur.

The 325D starts at 40 000...wtf!

Burnouts are the equivalent of aerial victory rolls. They shouldn't be done unless you've won something.
