This is all new to me, the canadian City Golf as well.
And the newer Polos are bigger than the Golf I. I think they're comparable to the size of the Golf 3. A new Polo is out as well. (Not 100% sure if it's an actual pic of the new model).
    Brazil would be my guess!

I nearly vomited when I saw the front bumper, but the rest of it looks pretty good - apart from the nasty colour of course.

"The latest car" is not all that important, if they have proven running gear, low maintenance and low running costs then it's a winner.
Many of the cars of yesteryear were every bit as economical as the latest emmissions bedraggled, CPU driven sh1tboxes.

I mean the manufacturers are always telling us that their latest car is waaaaay better - but then they would say that. How often are they still dragging around the same mechanicals just in a different dress.

Ahh maybe I just miss my old audi 80.

"The rest" is just an evil patchwork of designs found in other models.
Golf IV interior and body, Golf V steering wheel, somewhat Golf V rear lights, 2006 Polo frontlights.

If you put rearlights which were designed on the rounder model V onto the boxier IV model it simply looks wrong and fake.
The lines are completely lost, same with the Polo front lights.

I really like the front, it really is beautiful, but honestly i think they went over the top with the curves along the side.

But no doubt it's going to be a great drivers car...
