    Default AVLB mechanism

    Hi everyone,
I've been searching the internet for ages but couldn't find any materials or information about how the bridge launching mechanism works for the M60 AVLB. Does anyone know where I can get information about how the bridge launching mechanism works?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much!

Is this the right place to post this question?

Don't know if that's what you are looking for. Think the mechanism is pretty straightforward, erecting and unfolding the bridge by hydraulics.

Thanks for that link. I've seen that after trying so many searches on the internet.

I'm just trying to explore if a fully functional model of this AVLB can be made. I'm sure somebody else has thought of it before but I just can't find ANY materials on the internet on this subject so far. Would very much like to build a fully functional model.

Well, it really depends on how complicated the mechanism is. Maybe metal maybe plastic. But most likely plastic first.....

    hopefully.....
