For now, the Marines aren't adopting any urban pattern for use. Desert MARPAT is supposed to be used for urban environments as it can reflect the greys of urban environments rather well:

I got this from a friend he is in the 101st airborne and is stationed at Ft benn. I think he would have more info on this than the average person. i heard that the army would get the MARPAT with a army emblem rather than a marine one . If you look around the web it says that the army will soon release a new camo pattern. I guess they wanted to change it since they seen osama sporting it

Your "friend" is full of crap. And the 101st is stationed at Ft Campbell, NOT at Ft Benning.

I didn't know the 101st was at Benning. Last time I checked they were at Ft Campbell, KY . The Army is working on a new pattern. I forget the name of it. If someone can find pics of the SHot Show in March. Eagle had a manequin dressed in it at their display.
