Pinzgauer 4x4 cargo bed dimensions, internal (l/w): 2250mm x 1590mm
Zastava NTV 4x4 cargo bed dimensions, internal (l/w): 2330mm x 2030mm
Pinzgauer 4x4 payload: 1t
Zastava NTV 4x4 payload: 1.5t
Pinzgauer wheeltrack: 1440mm
Zastava NTV wheeltrack: 1790mm
Pinzgauer vehicle width: 1760mm
Zastava NTV vehicle width: 2100mm
Pinzgauer vehicle height: 2045mm (The newer 716 Diesel models are even 2160mm high, while retaining the same width (+10mm))
Zastava NTV vehicle height: 2200mm
So, the cargo box is longer and significantly wider, the payload is 50% higher, the vehicle "stands" wider, in fact more wide than it is more tall (35cm wider stance (wheeltrack) with only 15cm (4cm for the Pinz.'s Diesel model) more height), while the cabin is also wider and more comfortable for the troops.

On the higher end (for the heavier loads) the work of the TAM 110 (and similar vehicles in its class) will be replaced by the FAP 1118, but on the lower end for which it is also used it could be replaced by a NTV, the overall dimensions are similar, the TAM 110 is just heavier and has a bigger cargo bed and payload, but is often used for things that don't need neither it's cargobed size nor its payload. And it's not being produced anymore, and the half a century old vehicles need replacing.TAM 110 again is a much better vehicle by design because of various configurations, although comparing the two is not fair because 110 is a completly different class of vehicle.
Here are some pics that have been posted before, just to illustrate the size and dimensions of the vehicle and the wheels:I do some off road driving occasionaly and IMHO this vehicle looks like it's a little top heavy and not a great off roader. Also I would love to see some photos of the suspension, judging by what can be seen on these photos it is not particularly good.
