    This is very Sad

Almost the mascot of the unit, he claimed to be 16 and, too young to die. Paul later informed me back in England that this young "man" had been killed by a Serb sniper. Over the years i have found many things i was told in and of Bosnia not to be true! I hope this was yet another one.

Two Bosnian-Croatian fighters from the fallen Town of Derventa taken on the front line at Bosanski Brod. The man with the "Bazooka" had a reputation as a tank killer, getting that close to a modern Serbian tank took an awful lot of guts. His weapon was old fashioned and he had to get very close indeed.

A Bosnian Soldier in Sarajevo holds his 3 month old baby, 2 days after this pictures was taken he was killed in action June 1, 1993.

The blue streak might just be there because the pic was taken of something fast moving and it was night - I'm no photo expert but I took pics of traffic at night once and it looked pretty similar.

The two lights could be ilumination flares (altough it should look a lot brighter if they were)

I think the blue streak was a light on the trooper carrying the shell that was just fired. the path the streak follows is right. and those are illume flares. they look like they're quite some distance away.

As stated, the lights in the distance are illumination rounds. The blue streak is the foreground looks to me like the LED headlight of the gunner who prepared the round, then walked around the mortar pit. The giveaway clue is the way the gunner to the left and the rounds laying on the ground to the right are illuminated. There is no visible light source, as the wearer of the headlight moved away as the photo was being taken.
