It's not just furniture - the whole upper is different. It has the left-sided cocking handle instead of the standard AR15-type T-shaped handle. This of course can be done to a standard AR-upper (Accuracy Speaks amongst others offer it as a custom alteration to competition uppers.)

Its an AR-15 with a different upper and furniture.

Actually it looks like an abortion.

They are usuing, from the photos, an AR bolt carrier, but they have a different charging handle. They still have the recoil tube abd spring in the same location, but looking at the stock the wood along the top has to be fairly thin, which means its easy to crack, expecially if you get some moisture in there.

Read some of this text from the website...

External metalwork is given, as with every one of our rifles, an 'extreme environment' finish. This matte black finish prevents shine which may alert sharp eyed
    Silliness.

We hand fit a medium weight match grade stainless barrel. This has almost all the accuracy potential of our heavier weight barrels in terms of superior accuracy without hampering portability.
    Crap.

The light weight and compact dimensions make this rifle a pleasure to use or even carry in the field all day.
    What!?

All they are doing is mod'ing out other manufacturers' rifles.

I don't know why you'd bother, except maybe to get around the .. what is it called the '85-ban?'.

Not that i have a heap of knowledge of the subject, but i've seen photo's of an MG-34 with an M4 lower to get around it.
