Picking up is the smart thing to do.
There's a few things that American forces don't do which seem kinda weird.
The other would be that it doesn't appear that they are issued with any real canteen for cooking stuff on the battlefield. It makes for living off the land extremely difficult unless you want to eat everything raw and never boil any water at any point.

    The Air Force rescue guys.
Hmmm their digital cammo seems to have a touch of blue in it. Wonder what was up with that. It's actually the first thing I spot in that camouflage.
Also with the UH-60's glossy black finish... never was a fan of that. Don't even know why they chose glossy.

Quite interesting to see ROK is planning to spend about $32 billion ($1 = 1250 Korean Won) for artillery only until 2020.

No, Kim DJ may have tried to make people forget but we remember. We may not have commited their names to memory and we may not know their faces but we have not forgotten.

i have yet to see ROK troops in body armor during training. also, their personal equipment seem to be a touch outdated (nylon m-1 helmets, Vietnam-era flashlights, boots, BDU seems a bit old, too). I read a number of months back that Dyneema helmets would be used(24,000 units ordered by ROKA), but I most often see the old M-1s. And we are a relatively rich country. Why is this?

next generation MLRS will be much look like M270(A1) which will have 130mm and 230mm tubes.

    Army STRONG!!! Yeah baby~
When is the ROK Army going to replace their WW2 era M-101 105mm howitzers? At least the WW2 era M-114 155mm howitzers they have were upgraded with new longer barrels...

Hard to tell from just the photographs isn't it? A lot of the information you just provided is actually wrong.

I got addicted to those things while I was stationed in Korea, especially after watching the movie "JSA".
