What are the exact specification of the new SPH?
In my opinion the K9 is still an awesome machine but it needs to improve it`s range and carry more shells.

This is what ROK military wants/plans:
- L54 155mm
- 3 crews
- 70km average range (expected using 100km range gliding shells)
- use various smart shells
- 10 rounds/min
- autoloading while moving
- 20 seconds for first shot
- 1,500HP, 78km/h
etc etc....

1) No, that's why its project is named next generation SPH.
2) K9, K2, K21, etc... yeah why not.

Thanks for your answer but I think you misunderstood my first question, because I was refering to equipments with those specification in the world not only in Korea. All I want to know is if Korea is still trying to cath up others or is aiming beyond what others have. but that's ok.

K9 is already a top class SPH.

New SPH is a separate project.
