thats some nice drawings
Based on the stealthy IPS-16 “Peykaap” Fast Attack torpedo Craft, this new type is less stealthy but has two "Kowsar" short range missiles in addition to two lightweight torpedoes. Comparison drawing (by me):

They sure do like small craft. They look small but effective.
Are the missile launchers semi- or fully recessed into the aft structure? It looks like they might pop out and fire...?
And planeman, what software do you use to draw all those marvelous pictures of yours?
"KOWSAR" missile is an iranian version of chinese C-701, but what is the homing mean ? China has developped at least two differents head (TV and MW radar) is ti retained for the "kowsar" ?
Very nice looking small ships for "hit-and-run" operations
Thay also seen not very expensive and therefore maybe they can build them in large numbers!
Looks like a very sensible and cost effective platform for coastal defence. That one will be nearly impossible to detect when camouflaged by land. And the shape lends itself perfectly to dummies built from wood.
Nice shape!!!
Any info about max speed? Engines? Number of crew?
Also i like the use of newspaper....... for painting the lower part of the boat!!!!!
IDF_Tanker: Are you thinking what I'm thinking about the type of Torpedo's?
2 SSM's seem...so...insufficient.
No, not exactly. I was thinking about torpedo boats Russians used during WWII - as a general "hit and run" concept. BTW, I don't know what's going on now in the Russian navy, but until USSR breakdown they had these relatively small and very fast missile boats. They had underwater wings and max speed about 45 knots(83.3kmh/51.8mph). So Iranians had these boats in mind apparently when designing theirs.
I know what type of boats you're talking about. But the platform seems to boast 2 SSM's and 2 Torpedo's. I wonder how the combination of both weapon systems would perform against a naval target.
C-701 has a 15 to 20km max range. Shkvall 7 to 13km, if it were to be armed with Shkvall (or copies or look a likes).
