Hey, new guy to MP.net here, I have exactly the same problem as everyone else with my SG-1's, however my newly issued ESS Advancers seem to do the trick pretty well.
My best tip for people planning on getting SG-1's is don't![]()

As some may know, i`m blind as a bat without glasses or contact lenses.
Now that I tend to run more and more, I`m looking for those cool prescription glasses, or i`d rather say goggles seen several time on the pics of the day.
I was wondering if anyone here ever got a chance to try those, and zhat feedback they could give.
I`ll try not to be too much of a lazy ass and find the pics that i`ll post/edit here later.
thanks in advance
Sorry if this is incorrect, are you referring to ESS ICE's or WileyXs? I know they both can handle perscrip lens or carrier...
Check this site out.

On the other hand I'm curious how expensive would be us army birth control glasses.. the black ones with thick plastic frame![]()
I have to say that the best are Combat Eyeglasses:
Non-Reflective, self adjusting frame + adjustable retention strap. I got mine for like $24 at US Cavalry. But I had to go to my optometrist (sp?) to get fitting lenses for it, and that cost me like $270.
Gilgoul man, one word for you: INTRALASE.
Six months ago and perfect vision since.
Yeah, but it depends on how well it's done.
If it's done well, it'll be be like you said, Grim. If not, then you'll be walking around with a stick for the rest of your life.
Watch your step

I'm not afraid of getting my bones broken, but don't touch my eyes
Seriously, I don't like the rather "cavalier" way it's done here,
listen to the add on the radio
Pay 10000NIS
show up at the clinic at 1100
get out of the clinic at 1145
get 1 sick day and a visit a week later
Hope for the best or go to pray at the kotel for refuah shlema
The fact that most do both eyes the same day bothers me greatly
And I worked in an ophthalmology Hospital years ago, security of the emergency ward, and the number of people showing up after such a surgery left me with a taste of "never get close to a laser"
Still, maybe i'll check it out
I had some of those in the USMC, but I was able to get the old school black ones too.
I had LASIK in June. It's amazing. I now have 20/15 vision.
I would caution you against the Wiley X goggles; I had a pair with prescription lenses. They routinely fogged up, even after I removed extra bits of foam around the eyepieces.
