Hey guys,
you won't be hearing from me for a while, due to unforseen problems my computer shorted out killing the complete system, I've lost all my pictures from my computer as well as my backup Hard drive. Over 14000 pictures were lost, I am trying to get some of them back through "Tiny Pic" but it's a bloody tragedy and some I won't be able to replace as they weren't posted yet. You would not believe how "Gutted" I am, any way I am using a backup computer till I can rebuild my old one. It will have to be a complete rebuild as it even blew a hole through a chip on my motherboard every thing got fried. God I'm suicidal at the moment.... I will still drop in to look at the pics you guys are posting so keep up the great work Santana & Mitch, you guys are the backbone of this thread and I know it is in "Good Hands".
Take care all.
Hump
Hey Hump God Speed, Good luck in your work restoring your information. But how did happened that???
What a tragedy man...
But never lose hope! Think ahead to the good times, soon this thread will be full with pictures QE and Ford class beauties![]()
Hey Santana, the Power Surge Protector built into the House Power board shorted out and blew the whole board up, everything is insured but my data and pictures were lost mate.
Thanks for the kind words guys, I will be back don't you worry about that, it will take time that's all.
Have a Good one

Boy thats really crappy. It took me a long time after mine went down to get back to "normal". Now I'm kinda paranoid. Just glad I had most of my stuff backed up on flash drives or zip disks. Let me know when you're ready and I'll send you what I got.
EJ
Sorry about that Hump.. For me we don't keep anything stored on our computers. And it has a 1 TB hard drive my wifes laptop is 750MB. We use external sources for storage.
Sorry to hear that Hump... i guess you could recover a load of the images via your posts here (though i would suspect it'll be a lot of work).
Well Hump you got here almost 319 pages of aircaft carrier pictures, you just need the time to save all of them, specially your pictures

Anothe good video
I know what you mean Popeye, I've got 5 Terrabytes of hard drive (I should say I had) but from today anything important is going on to Data DVD's they are still the safest medium you can store data on. Hey Ej. I got the Disc mate, I'll drop you a line to say Hi as soon as I get out from under buddy. Hey Santana, Yes I've got a lot of downloading to do and my backup machine is only a pentium4 3.2 Ghz so it may take a little longer but that's the good thing about being retired, is you have time...lol
Take care you lot & Have a Good One.
