    Worth noting that the first video is of the first Doorman, ex-Nairana. She was in service with the RNLN for only two years, from 46 to 48, before being returned to the UK. The last video shows second Doorman, which was indeed named the Venerable in British service. She was acquired in 48. The return of the first carrier to the UK is mentioned in the video.

    I found some photos of Kitty Hawk firing RIM-2 SAMs.
    Sweet! (Those are rare.) The Kitty Hawk, Constellation, and America, all were built with the system (2 twin launchers with 80 missiles total). I don't think Kennedy or Enterprise were. Eventually they all switched over to the Sparrow BPDMS.
