    The Americans would earn a lot of money if they would sell these decommissioned aircraft carriers (such as America, Forrestal etc.) to a foreign Navy such as Brazilian or Indian.. Maybe the Kitty Hawk or the Constellation (or both of them) which are the newest from the decommissioned aircraft carriers should be kept as a reserve but for the others could be a good idea to sold. Except of course if they want more museums!

    An F/A-18C Hornet from the Death Rattlers of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron 323 is waved off its approach above the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, accelerating for another pass. Ronald Reagan is capable of landing one aircraft every minute on its 800-foot flight deck.     An F/A-18C Hornet from the Death Rattlers of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron 323 launches off catapult one on the flight deck on board the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Steam-powered catapults are capable of accelerating a fully-loaded Hornet from zero to 180 miles per hour in less than three seconds.     Sailors on board the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan conduct a foreign object damage walk-down. The FOD walk-downs are conducted several times daily in order to ensure the aircraft on board Ronald Reagan remain in working condition as even the smallest debris can cause catastrophic damage to a jet engine.     CVN-65 USS Enterprise.

    The ship in the middle is the USS Long Beach (CGN-9), a nuclear-powered cruiser.
