An F/A-18E/F Super Hornet from embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14 makes its final approach on the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during night flight operations off the coast of Southern California. After dark, CVW-14 aircraft begin final approach from more than six miles out to safely acquire proper glide-slope landing conditions.
