You must likely got hacked using the "forgotten password" questions. Change those first preferably to something complicated, thats how they hacked into Sarah Palin email address. Then change you're password to something that uses at least 1 capital and a number.This increases the time of finding out you're password from 25 min to 25 centuries. I am by no means a hacker or a security expert but i know quite a lot of cases how people got hacked into.
