Thats the thing I tried to reinstall via the Installation Disk and I already backed it up. I actually have a spare identical driver should I replace the driver itself?
PS: I also got huge malware and registery issues aswell plus my Avast! system became unsecure the momment I installed it(I fixed it via Safe Mode, but I can't resolve the driver issue in the mode)

Ok, what you need to do is to put Vista CD into DVD/CD drive.

Start computer, press F12 for Dell for example, to choose a boot drive.

    Choose CD/DVD drive.

Your computer will start loading from Vista CD and it will start the installation.

    Follow the prompts.

This is clean installation. What I think you're trying to do is to start the install from loaded OS. Is this correct?

My hdmi input on my hd4650 is blocked. Can't connect a cable to it, because housing covers 1/3 of the port. Can I fix this without opening my computer? I don't want to lose my warranty. I will take it to the shop eventually, but maybe there is some magic trick.

The rack looks like it was installed crooked, with the right end higher than the left. Try slightly loosening the screw, inside the bezel to the right of the blue connector and see if the rack will drop down a little. Retighten the screw.

At your own risk of course.

Why would removing a sidepanel void the warranty?

    Here is the problem chaps.

I will shut my laptop and it will go into sleep mode. But if I wait too long it will not want to start after opening again. After this I will have to restart by pressing the power button.

I can't seem to figure this one out. I've been playing with computers since I was young but I'm used to desktops :/
Any help would be appreciated, I hate being stumped by laptops .

Dell XPS 1530 running Vista home premium.

In sleep mode it is still consuming battery power, just not as much. Maybe it runs out of juice?

Call Dell for support. It might be a hardware issue.

Oh wow on my google searching skills. It's not too big of a problem just annoying. Thanks though for the quick responses.
Also not power because I have it plugged in when it happens.

Could be your powermanagement settings. AFAIK it can dictate what the wake action for sleep mode should be. It could be that it's set to 'activate on press power' or something like that.
