once, maybe twice the pc has taken itself to power saving mode during BF3 but the PC(fans run until hard shut down)
is the graphic card upto it

the reason i list this is because i know the BF3 recommended GC is AT LEAST twice what i have.

Go into the control panel and into Backup and Restore. There should be an option for Recover System Settings that will let you roll back to a date before the "upgrade" too place. It should only roll back programs, not data.

fixed a lot for me, but they're still evidently there.

Ive got a new computer & need to transfer my files from my Ipod, this im not to worried about it can be done but im wondering does anybody know if there is an easy way to dump more songs onto my Ipod. I have another 2500 songs to add. or is there a way to resyncing both or resetting. any help be appreciated.
Turned my PC on today and Avast gave me error saying that the program needed to be restarted but when I click the button that it prompts me to, it goes into a not responding state for about 5 seconds and then nothing happens.
I restarted my PC about 5 times to no avail. So I tried a system restore but that failed as well.
Here's a pic of both issues:
I haven't downloaded any EXEs recently or browsed any shady sites. I'm not sure if this is a virus or just my system acting up but I have no idea what the hell to do next.
Are you using Avast's free version? If so, uninstall it and switch to Avira or Windows Security Essentials. I'm not so sure this on Avast's end. The system restore failing makes think it's more serious.

Do a backup just to be sure.
Computer fails to load. Upon start-up, the screen has white dots sporadically displayed on the screen, then, several lines comprising of blue dots during the Windows loading process. However, it doesn't get far as moments later the "blue screen" pops up and it crashes, restarting the process. Can anyone provide some insight?
To me it seems like a motherboard issue, as several connectors failed in recent months, prohibiting the use of my secondary hard drive as well as one USB connection which I use for my external.
