I just haven't made it all the way through them yet. I don't even know what a Recovery Console is...

I think we're going to downgrade CJ to the tier 1 support package.

Why don't you take it to a repair shop?

Why don't you tell him to buy a Mac while you're at it.

Repair shops are for pussies. Macs are for people that can't be bothered to figure out how their PC/OS works.

I've posted this somewhere else as well, but to those of you using a headset: what do you guys use/recommend? Seeing as i'm apparently in the market for a new gaming headset

My $300 Sennheisers are screwed and I was heartbroken and headsetless. I got a headset for Xmas that my sister and bro in law got me so I could play Bf3 with them, I'm pretty happy with them and I'm fairly sure they didn't pay too much for them. I'll post the model later tonight.

Don't worry, MPN Helpdesk is here to walk you through it. Our dedicated callcenter operatives in New Delhi and Mumbai are waiting for you call as we speak.

    EDIT:
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixthe...s/rconsole.htm

How to access the recovery console in XP.

I have this. 5.1 surround sound (7.1 virtual) and head shaking bass.

Here is Sennheisers page for Gaming headsets : http://www.sennheiserusa.com/pro-gam...-pc-skype-voip

My Shure's I use for dedicated listening cost about that much, I know most people would have a heart attack to pay that for headphones but I'll never go back.

I was using a Roccat Kave before I accidently snapped one of the ear pieces off...more my fault if anything. Before that however, she worked like a charm. Bass is a little weak but that's waht the equalizers in the remote and your software is for. Other than that, solid 5.1 surround sound and I found it fairly comfortable. Price isn't too unreasonable either at ~$100 CAD. Only issue is that they're a very new company. They JUST opened up shop in the States. If you're from Europe you'll be fine though. Think of them as the European version of Razer, only I find some of their stuff a bit cooler imho.
