- Anyone know how to get GTKRadiant to import .skp (sketch-up) files?
Was able to convert the .skp to .dae , but don't know where to go from there.
i tried installing few game on my persocom....err,laptop.
while the game did run, there's no audio from it.i thought it might because of audio setting, buti checked both game and computer audio setting, and they seems to be fine. there's even audio from the cutscenes, but nothing from the game itself
is it because of directX incompatibility? friend suggesting me to install directX 10 but i worried that it will accidentally replaced the preinstalled directX 11

OEM disks often have other stuff as well that they will install along with windows 7. If you are unsure download the windows ISO from windows website and install it via a flash drive or burn a disk for yourself.
PS: They might work only with the brand of PC they came with.
Orighty then.... Wife needs a small computer (netbook). The budget is around $400 (AUD). Any suggestions and such? What brands are crap?
External HD is ok, seems one of the pins to the power is loose or something. Excuse to get a USB to IDE/Sata cable. Had to mess with the cable some to get power to the drive, spun up and everything seems alright. Don't have anything to back up to now but need to get that sorted, may copy essentials off of this and just store it. Made my day, though the external enclosure may have been alright after all.
I have tried using OEM Windows install disks in the past. They work best on the same brand of computer as they were produced for (some even check the BIOS to confirm they are HP or Lenovo or Dell or whatever). They will not work with a regular key either, they need an OEM key for that specific manufacturer.
I'd just find an ISO (however you can) and then a loader which are usually included or recommended from the source. The 7 ISO I have is about 4gb, just need a DVD disk or create a boot on a usb stick.
I use Imgburn for ISO burning and has always worked well for me.
I second that.
However it depends on how much she is actually going to type. If it is a lot and of importance i would say to go for the notebook. If it is an occassional type of thing i would highly recommend either the ipad or a good android tablet. I am inclined to say go for the ipad given the quality of the apps. I love mine.
Multiple win 7 keys? Or the generic discs? i have more XP keys than i can poke a stick at. Work is throwing out heaps of machines, so i go along taking the keys off them.
