My mate has one that is even more crippled thanks to the EDS Standard Laptop Build. 8GB of RAM, 8 minutes to boot.
OpenVPN, you're set. I get an address (in france for something) through my seedbox that I don't use for torrents that I don't know of.
Ok so got this laptop with AMD 2.3 and 5gb of ram, but i still get hangups when running multiple windows (youtube, forum, word) and especially when downloading files on firefox. What could be causing this hangup/freeze and how do i solve it?
problem......
I bought GTA 4 in the Steam summer sale...
i run windows 7 64 bit.
it says i need vista service pack 1 to run the game.
er how do i fix it to work on windows 7?
Right click on shortcut, troubleshoot compatibility. It should give you the option to pretend to be a different OS.
Can someone recommend me a decent Headset or a Headphone/Mic combo?
I will use it mostly for PC gaming, but music as well.
Has to have:
-good sound quality
-decent build quality
-Comfortable, preferably over ear
-an affordable price; let's say under 100 bucks/euro's
I'm not interested in true surround headphones, since they're crap and way overpriced.
About the virtual surround headphones with their own USB sound card. Don't need that either because I have a separate sound card that can do "Dolby Headphone" just fine and probably better.
For a Headset I was looking at Razor Charcharias. Corsair 1500 looks good too but it's USB only, so that's not good.
For a separate headphone/mic combo, I have really no clue about what is decent but affordable.
I'd appreciate some help.
Google Chrome doesn't play audio for some reason.
Back to using FireFox instead.

I avoid the usual Big name gaming brands unless i'm spending a fair amount.
i'm gonna try some sensheisers next
Chrome always has some problems. Recently it refused to open up my windows, acting as the adress is incorrect and after 3-4 refreshing it went ok. Did it for week or two and than the problem disappeared. Found out that this problem is happening for years now and Google has no idea why. However it is still better than Firefox which is extremely slow compared to Chrome.
Aside of the rant, as Argag said, try to reinstall flash, download latest audio drivers, delete cookies and all the standart mumbo-jumbo. If won´t help, reinstall Chrome completely, if that won´t help report the bug and use FF meanwhile.
