For the record, Kaspersky warned me of this site, too.
I think its a good program btw.
Well I dare say it's something wrong with MSE and/or her computer, rather than just MSE. I've installed it on plenty of machines and it's had a very small footprint.

Just wasted half a day with engineers would couldn't get mail flow to work with a new Exchange 2010 installation. Turns out the customer put McAfee on the Exchange Servers without telling us, and it was blocking port 25.
Been there, done that, looked like a **** while doing it too. Entirely my own fault.
Well not entirely. I also blame the a$shat who decided that McAfee was a server AV solution.
So lately my computer has been really ****ing slow, and I finally realized that Facebook causes it. After being on for more than a couple minutes, my CPU usage soars up to almost 100% and remains that high until I open a new Facebook tab or close the Facebook tab. Any ideas as to what causes this or how it can be remedied?
Sorry I can't help you anymore, but I'd say try the "usual", make sure you chrome is up to date and also, does it happen with any specific facebook app that you're using (if you're using)? I could imagine there's something wrong with how Chrome is reading the code IF it only happens in Chrome. Should try with other browsers as well.
I got one for you guys...
Have an old Compaq Presario 2200 laptop running Windows XP SP2; it's a standby (got a Windows 7 laptop now) it wouldn't work for the longest time, finally got it up and running properly Friday night. Takes a little longer to boot & shutdown than I'd like, but no big deal. Go to boot it today and it takes 20 mins at the XP loading screen, then I get a blue screen with something along the lines of: Registry error: lots of cryptic lines, SOFTWARE, and something about a log being altered or corrupt, then a message "beginning physical memory dump." I don't know exactly what it says because it only flashes this momentarily, then it attempts a restart. (only to do the same cycle again and again, it's stuck in a death loop) I've tried booting in safe mode, safe mode with networking or safe mode with cmd prompt, last known settings, and normal startup, and every time this happens.
It's really just a computer I use for some old games that won't run on Win7 so I'm not too fussed about it, but is it safe to say this baby's toasted?
The hard drive sounds like it's toasted, or RAM. I'm guessing HDD though since RAM would give you "page fault" BSOD.
Have you considered getting vmware workstation (or whatever the free version is), and installing Windows XP as a virtual machine on your Windows 7 box for old games? If you need proper video driver compatibility this may be an issue, but it's worth googling it's viability.
Thanks, Dave. My next question was actually going to be if there was some sort of XP emulator in existence. I will start doing my research on the program you recommended.
http://www.vmware.com/products/server/overview.html is the free version, I believe.
You might have to register to download it.
I wonder about is it possible to upgrade laptop graphic card?I have GeForce GT 130m
Not generally upgradeable ulytau. Though the geforce may have some possibilities. What spec / model laptop is it?
Check you have the latest drivers and firmware and cleanup anything slowing your system.
