Easy fix for that, buy a 360mm radiator, a couple water blocks, fittings, tubing, pump and reservoir and you're good to go!
Speaking of radiator...soon my beast will be back online and I will banish my vile old (yet trusty) machine back to the ruinous dungeon only known as my basement.
Well for one it got too hot, so much so the two fans (this was a Gigabyte version with two fans, supposed to be more cool this way) made far too much noice under stress.
But that I could live with, what I couldn't accept is the TDR issues, meaning the gfx driver breaking down and then resetting itself ingame. (like the screen going black when you install a driver) This is a known problem apparently, and after having tried every possible driver, bios update and so on I found someone who suggested using MSI Afterburner to DOWNCLOCK my cards GPU and memoryclock, plus increasing the voltage from 1005 to 1036. This fixed my problem.
But the concept of having to do underclock my overclocked card (overclocked from the factory mind you) and add sufficient voltage because they are too incompetent to fix this themselves is unacceptable.

Anybody here own a Lumia 900 ?
Speaking of Asus and nVidia, I just spent the last 2 hours fixing my laptop after their live update utility managed to **** up my graphics driver. If my drivers need updating, I'll do it.
Naturally, the first thing I did once I fixed the problem was uninstall that POS live update software.
Well, my BB Torch 9800 is all messed up. Started having problems with touch screen responsiveness which would be fixed after I did a hard reset (taking out battery). The touch screen would work for a bit, and then the phone would bog down. Finally, it froze up completely, and I pulled the battery again, and now it won't start up. The red light just goes off and on. I looked for a fix, but nothing seems to work. So, it's off to Best Buy, where I bought it, to see if they can fix it, but I may just buy the Samsung Galaxy S II or whatever the hell it's called. Bad timing, because I know the S III is coming out very soon...
It was a pain to put in, only because my case (CM HAF 932) has those plastic no tool clips. I needed to screw in three screws but those clips were in the way. I had to remove the H80 radiator, pull the clip rod out, undo the clips, screw the radiator back in, and screw the 680 card in. That took me a while.
I have yet to test any games with it so I'll see on performance later. It idles at the same temperature as my 560 (around 33 C). The duel fans are silent. When I crank them up to max they hum like a flying saucer.
Here's front and back. No pics of my case because CM thought too little of cable management with the 932 and it's kind of clumpy.

New update. Set BF3 to Ultra everything and raised the resolution to 1080p. Temps on full load were around 54 C. I'm a happy boy.![]()
