    Its the 9mm version.

    .40 S&W and .45 ACP versions have straight clips.

    Hello Marek,
    There is a squad from 1st Special Operations Battalion "The Eagles" in Afghanistan since 2006, the last squad with 39 soldier since October 2007. But, unfortunately, the General Staff of Romanian Army is very secretive with that,

    Ttalked with a good friend of mine from a Scandinavian SOF Unit who have been working with Romanian SOF. He said they where VERY good, and surprised him allot.

    Where did you get thos pics from ? i didn`t have the slightest ideea we had 9mm UMP and G-36`s are they in service or just evaluation ?
    The handguns look like Glocks right ?

    Hy Droopy,
    The UMP and G-36 are only in use by the 1st Special Operations Battalion "The Eagles" and the combat divers, while Glock is use by all armed forces.
    The marines (307th Marine Battalion), also a special operations unit, use SIG SAUER SG551. Few pics with combat divers and marines. (from here)
