    That's because it is bigger
It's a great helo and the CAS version looks impressive.

But I wonder why the .50 is used?? Since they are used for self-defense and really just to lay down suppresive fire, wouldn't a minigun be a much better choise because of it's much higher rate of fire (and better hit-chance) ?

pardon my ignorance, but this is just the EH101, but with Lockheed Martin's tinkering/American designation, yes?

Yeah it did look a lot like our Cormorants, but something was just different, besides the flashy yellow and red on ours lol. I was just confused

I don't really see why. The USN doesn't have any specific need for a medium-lift helo that can't already be handled by the SH-60 or MH-53E, and the USMC has the MV-22 replacing the CH-46 as we speak.

They've got a good art team at AW. I'm sold. Please buy me one for Christmas.

    Thanks for the pics, easyand.

Wow, nice graphics and looks promising! That is an interesting rear ramp mount for the 50cal M2. It would be awesome if it can mount a 50 cal GAU but i think its a bit too heavy- anyone?

The weapons shown are not M2 but FN M3M variants which in many ways are the ideal Heli crew served weapon in terms of firepower vs weight etc etc.
