I pretty sure the VNAF had more aircraft types than present-day PVAAF, excluding what they took from them.

Maybe these plane or helicopter join PVA's action in Cambodia.
I seen our Taiwan's military magazine said , PRC v.s Vietnam's military action , in 1980 era , PRC's SAM forces shoot down more PVAAF's MIG plane. And PRC Air Force bomber or figther plane was bomb Vietnam north border city(Red River Delta north) . But I can't sure PRC fighter plane has bomb Vietnam border record or not .
