    Default Women in the field

Major Dana Mishali-Binishu is in the Armored Corps. Out with her support unit. What makes it interesting is, she's 5 months pregnant. Her husband is a fighter pilot and has also been called up. Her only request? A bigger set of overalls. She says "If you're going to take on a job, you better be prepared to finish it. There are no excuses, I'm tired, it hurts, it's that time of the month, you just do it" (source in Hebrew Ynet)

Turkey uses a modified British rank system for officers. Stars replace pips on company grade officers and crossed swords represent general ranks.

There is headgear, and then there is Italian headgear...

My favourite: the **** feathers some units (Bersaglieri?) still use, even with their kevlar helmets!

Gotta love their style. Forza Italia.

It is not the helmet, it is a cover. The thinking is with it being big and floppy, it helps break up the outline of the soldier when on the ground.

I had to look twice to figure out which one is supposed to be the lady officer.
