Why would she not be a Marine? The background looks like some barracks and nothing says otherwise.
Agreed.
Regulation haircut (off the collar)
Uniform looks squared away
Not overdosing on the makeup
Seems like the bracelets would be non-reg, though. When I was in, the women could wear a watch, wedding band, and simple stud earings, and thats about it. But then, I've been out more than a decade, so who knows?
BTW, Ki11err: What should a "Rodriguez" look like, anyway?
Hey, you can't be strac all the time! Of course, I was an air-winger, and we were largely regarded as the ragbags of the Corps. When my squadron deployed aboard the USS John F Kennedy, the MARDET First Sgt told his boys to stay away from us, as we weren't "real" Marines, and would NOT be good examples to follow.
Naturaly, we took perverse pride in our seedy reputation.
We took it as a "stupid lifer" mentality at the time, but I can see his point:
He had a Co. of 18-19 yr old kids, that, due to the nature of their job, had to be safety-wired into the "yessir" position, and taught instant obediance, without question. We on the other hand, worked 12 hour shifts on the roof, servicing/loading the aircraft, and if we had duty section, my have to go stand a four hour watch in the ready-room, etc. So our uniforms were usualy wrinkled, boots never shined (brushed, if we remembered to do it) and our hair was usualy longer than really allowed.
And don't get me started on the parties ashore![]()

Well, I'd better shut up, now. The worst thing I can think of doing, would be to hijack a thread about women!
Good luck with your career, and be sure to think a kind thought about us airdales once in awhile (never know when you might need air support).
pretty smile![]()
