Gah, I barely speak English properly, it's a waste of time bro.
Sometimes I get frustrated when I can't communicate with my mouth, so I let my fists do the talking for me.
LOL, that sounded so GAY.
That's the problem with these kids , nowadays.
Matchanu , sais tu que le phoque et le marsoiun sont de la meme famille?
Ok , I'm on a public computer and having problems , finding the english word for " marsouin" , but basically marsouin are called all the Rima{Infanterie de Marine} , Rama{ Artillerie de marine} Rpima{ parachustiste d'infanterie de marine , and the glorious Ricm{ Cavalerie 'dinfanterie de marine .
My point is don't bother explaining yourself, man, and before I leave this place for today , I repeat I respect you what you've accomplished , and the unit you hail from , might you be a lil gun - ho on the sides.

Well this is a thread on HANDguns........ Dang I am glad I missed joing the Navy.Originally Posted by Matchanu

I like HK thought I don't own one. I quess for fighting I would prefer a rifle. A hand gun is better than a knife to fight with until one can get a rifle.
The other issue is job, as a LEO I would want a pistol (avoided handgun term here) rifles are not practical and LEO are not soldiers in their line of work.
as far as which pistol. The one that works and fits me. I have several varities and will carry them all sometime or another. I am in a secure environment so even a 22 berretta surfices or a knife or nothing.
part of choice of caliber would be risk assessment.
Chances were and maybe true today that most police officers will never fire their side arm at anyone. If a LEO is one who will, then I think caliber and bullet selection should be carefully studied.
BTW wheel guns for wheel men.
Matchanu , I am so sorry bro . I'll tell you why. I am sorry this kids don't understand what you are , were trained , and possibly attained the ultimate as far as military service is concerned in this world.
I say that again , sir, because, you're from a mini comunity in the world .
What kills me is when I see, a lil kid trying 2 attack you , following our lil exchange sir. I reiterate , matchanu is 100 times the killer that I am { assuming I have ever killed} and the differenece betwen him and me is that , he far more worked for his governement than I did .

Gatling,
is this the part where i thank you for hijacking my thread? what your talking about has nothing to do with weapons. shut up.
Abncougar, I apologize man, I don't calculate the speed nor the angle, I said an old Tokarev saved my life .I'll shut up 4 good.
haha, thanks man. the Tokarev is noted.
They are pretty inexpensive and ammo choice is very limited. Great for plinking. They are nice firearms. But if you buy factory ammo, not much choices. If you reload then that opens up possibilities.Originally Posted by abncougar
Still look at the SA/DA autos..
I'm waiting for someone to suggest a Deringer![]()
I have one of those, use it in the cowboy shoots. I guess if May West felt it in your pocket, she would say "you not very glad to see me?"Originally Posted by Geezah

I normally try to stay away from the ammo type discussion/arguments, mainly because I think even a .22LR has its benefits, but I'll do it with you and Geezah, so I'll bite this time.

I think it really depend on the situation you are in. Most hollywood shoot outs, let's face it, are hollywood shootouts. So what is Practical to carry. I have no problem carrying a 9mm even own a few. I don't think this guy needs major fire support.
BTW on the darrenger, I knew a highway patrol officer that carried one as a back up, he would hold it under his clip board on stops, these were long deserted desert highways.
I won't bite on the ammo Ford/Chevy debate, because I don't care, I carry 9mm and couldn't care less what Jack Jones carries.![]()
