The Duke. Winchester 94. .30-30
I'd recommend a .22 cheap, you can find the ammo almost anywhere, low recoil.
Crossman 760 cal .177
Defender of the nation at age 11.
Ruger 10/22
I was in 5th grade when I got it. (Christmas present from my grandfather)
Still love to shoot it.
On my 7th birthday a Winchester 22 rifle. No it was not a new front stuffer. It actually use metallic cartridges.
CAR-15 (A1 Type), recieved it as a gift from my father many, many years ago and still take it to the range. Reliable but the sights are a pain to adjust.

My very first gun was a Colt M1911A1. It was given to me by my Dad on my 16th birthday.
The first gun that I bought was an old surplus M14.
My first was a Marlin 99M1 - 10-shot tubular magazine fed .22 rifle that sorta looked like an M1 Carbine. I was 10 years old or thereabouts when it became "mine". My first handgun was a Glock 17 back in 1986 when they first began being imported. I still have both.![]()
