Unfortunatly the law system favors the criminal and mostly expects citizens to be helpless sheep. I refuse to be a willing victom. Cops are great.....after the event, but are rarely there when you really need them. You have to take an investment in your own survival. If you decide to defend yourself, you must know what to expect after the smoke clears. Depending on the DA and political environment, you may be veiwed as the aggressor, rather than the victom.
You are already at a disadvantage when it comes to defending yourself. They have the advantage of choosing the time and place of an attack. They have suprise and first draw. You're only advantage is training and your aggressors incompetence.
I had sort of the same experience. Had to park my rig off on a non lighted side street. I would approach my rig from various different direction (several choices). I would never walk next to a building. I would sometimes take my time to get to my rig, Cross the street and try to stay in the open. My thoughts was make it harder for a attacked to get near me unnoticed and to add time to my response. I used preplanning, never using the same route twice, and SA.Originally Posted by Matchanu
Yes I am, not I want one. I remember a picture where some glock magazines had a small extra attachment at the bottom intended to be a mag pull. It clipped to the very bottom of the rim and had a ring from where to pull. The idea was to be able to pull the mag from tight concealed spaces when reloading, just that, not really a fast reloading.Originally Posted by Durandal
Well thats why, Glock owners are always makeing uneeded stuff for their pistols...
My small and ever growing collection of handguns consists of a Glock 17, CZ-75, and a SIG 226- all 9x19. Later in the week, I hope to acquire another CZ-75!
How do you like the CZ compared to the other pistols, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? My collection includes a CZ75, along with a Springfield Armory 1911A1, a S&W M29, a Colt Agent .38, a Browning HiPower, a couple of Lugers, a Brit WWII Enflield revolver, and a couple of others. I've owned a couple of Glocks too.
CZ's are quite habbit forming - once I bought one, I just can't get enoughMy recent addition of CZ 75 Compact .40 was a hard desission to make but it was only because of a competition with another CZ
Similar point angle, levers, sights and slide dimension can really acustom the same point every time from a compact RAMI to a full from CZ 75B.
CZ's are wrong for people that gawk at "break in period", replacing springs or little additional home-smithing that really makes these pistols top notch. I'm getting some work done on the later CZ 75 Compact .40 - it's really well balanced piece IMHO. It really throws brass 20 feet and at people and rarely fails to feed real bottom bargain brand ammo - rectified by a Wolff recoil spring and a heavier recoil spring... CNC Machined Guide Rod is just for PIMP and these guns do really justify some nice custom grips![]()
I had a friend that happened too. He bought one, next they I knew he had a herd of them.Originally Posted by StukaJr
