Starting at $1800.00 for unlicensed jumper? Hmmm.

Meh, $400 for licensed skydivers to jump from 30,000 feet? Once I have that sort of money to spare I am definitely doing that.

Eventhough I am scared ****less of flying, I still dont understand why someone would want to toss themselves out of a perfectly airborne plane. At

It's inexplicable. I've only done static line jumps but the serenity and calmness in the air is breathtaking, you can hear guys 20m away from you whispering to themselves as they curse and thank god their chutes are deployed. Everything stops in time and it feel like the world is revolving around you.
As my parachute instructor told us "Jumping out of a CC130 Hercules aircraft flying at 130 knots WILL be the best blow job you EVER get!"

its the excitment and the adrenaline it is when you jump out of the plane, knowing you may die, and can prevent it, by following correct procedure.
I've never done it, but I want to REALLY badly!

I think I would rather take regular skydiving unless it was for halo school in the service. I already have my abn wings and I still find that appealing after 6 years on status.

this looks really really cool, however I am not sure it is worth the money when you can just join the military or just go regular sky diving

It's dead easy for every healthy average person with free time and some money.
Sign in at a civilian jump school AND DO IT.
    Don't talk, do the walk.

    ...what?

Why not "just" join the military? Sure, what the heck, I don't have anything going on this weekend!

You make it sound like it's no big deal, might as well do it just to get some jumps in. I spent nearly a dozen years in and got 8 jumps...if that is all I was going for, that was a lot of work.
