    (All) The Red Berets (in the world)

    Hi every body, this is my first post:

    I've always wondered how many forces (or special ops forces) use the Red Beret.

    For a start,

    the Paras in Uk (the Paratroop Regiment);
    the Commandos in Singapore;
    the Marines in Indonesia (TNI Angkatan Laut Mariner)

    Please contribute.

    Technically we (16th Air Assault*/Parachute regiment) wear a maroon beret. Military police wear the red beret.

    *Apart from the non Para infantry regiment attached obviously.

    If I were to describe the color of airborne forces berets from around the world excluding Russian, I would have to call them "Maroon" berets, not Red.

    Most red berets I know of are associated to military police and not airborne forces.

    That is how I see it.
