    Hedgehogs

I'm very interested in getting a hedgehog for a pet, but I've heard different things about them. Are hedgehogs usually mean, or mean only when not cared for enough? Do they like to play and be held, or left alone? Any information/experiences would be great, thanks. Now I leave you with this:

What's that face for? I just did a search and I only found 1 thread addressing hedgehogs, and it was about a picture.

The fox knows many tricks. The hedgehog, one good one.

My sister-in-law is from England and a long time ago I asked her about hedgehogs and she said they don't make good pets. I can't remember if it was because they just lay around or if they're boring or what. I like your thread though, Ria. If I could keep any critter as a pet I'd be like Elly May from The Beverly Hillbillies and get a raccoon. These bastards can open jars and work door knobs with their little hands.

Buddy of mine had one when I was a kid. You had to wear a glove to hold him. Even though he played with it.

Sorry, sarcasm doesn't translate well through the internet. I thought you would have caught it.
