I have some recent photos of public executions in Iran: students dangling hanged from construction cranes, and a poor lady being buried up to her neck in the ground proir to being stoned to death by a bloodthirsty mob. Or perhaps some manled Basij 14 year olds thrown into combat as cannon fodder or human mine sweepers.

Shall I post those pics, to show yet another side of this beautiful country?

Again this is the fox news mentality at work. You are bringing up a few dark moments in our history and attempting to portray the entire country of revolving around those events. It would be like me showing pictures of the rodney king beating, guantanamo bay, abu ghraib, the dead bodies left by your government days after hurricane katrina, and the images of dead civillians executed by your own government at Waco, Texas. Would that be a fair representation of the United States?

(P.S. I assure you that no kids were thrown into combat during the Iran-Iraq...find me one instance of any child that died in the war that DIDNT volunteer to go to the front or else shut your mouth about our war dead)

Nice way to compare bananas & apples. Smell more like Iranian nationalism.

its not about Iranian nationalism bulletproof ill be the first to denounce actions of the islamic republic and blatant human rights abuses. I am far from an apologist for this regime. But when certain people attempt to portray a false image of Iran using half truths and flat out lies I have to respond.

The fact remains that Iran is painted as some sort of a backwards country when in fact it is far more progressive than U.S. allies in the region such as Saudi Arabia(where woman cant even drive and can oinly show their eyes behind the burka) and Pakistan (essentially a military dictatorship/ police state).

The fact that Iran is portrayed as such by western media is only due to Irans political opposition to the United States.

the photo my friend are not recent.... i have a photo of white cop beating black people too...it doesnt make me think the entire country were like that. of course the topic name describe it all...so i think posting something bad about Iran will only derailed it. Why not spread love instead of hate eh?
